Picture book list for craft lessons

Picture books provide so many ways to help children understand the variety of literary devices and techniques authors use. Below is a list of many children's books along with literary devices represented in their texts.  Depending on what you are looking for, you might find a variety of books to use as a resource and/or anchor text. I am a firm believer that picture books are a wonderful resource for helping children improve their reading and writing abilities.
